BASTILLE DAY

 

Belle Époque with will honour La Fête Nationale with a rustic Bastille Day three-course menu available over lunch and dinner on Wednesday July 14, and priced at $110 per head. Diners will sip on their complimentary glass of Perrier Jouët  or Kronenbourg 1664 as they experience the flamboyant French Can-Can dance, made famous in the Moulin Rouge and the sultry sounds of  a classical guitar trio.

 

Paying homage to the “Beautiful Era” in European history, Belle Epoque’s custom-designed Bastille Day menu designed by chef de cuisine Trent Robson will showcase famous French dishes and take diners on a culinary journey celebrating the most talked-about French flavours.

 

Huge Lucky Door Prizes will held over both lunch dinner and will feature a Perrier Jouët Hamper, Lemercier Absinthe Prize Pack, double passes to The Hedgehog at Palace Centro cinemas from July 8, DVD pack courtesy of Madman Entertainment.

FIFA World Cup Final

Spain vs Netherlands - Monday July 12


At 4.30am on Monday, July 12, Spain will clash with Netherlands in what will be the most watched game on the planet this year – the final of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Brisbane’s Belle Epoque French Bistro in the Emporium will open its doors at 4am to give soccer fans a warm place to congregate, and watch this mighty, history making game.

 

Belle Epoque will be serving breakfast plus a special FIFA World Cup $8 coffee and croissant deal with the games screened on a huge screen. Belle Époque boasts a great bar area plus warm booths to watch the action from, and kids are more than welcome. Bookings are essential.

Tour de France

While the world's most elite cyclists will be challenged by the most famous route in the world during the Tour de France, a similarly lithe and lycra-clad assemblage will be gathering outside Belle Époque French Bistro in Brisbane to share the experience, albeit with a freshly made free espresso in hand!

 

From Monday July 5 to Monday July 26, between 7am and 8.30am, Brisbane’s Belle Époque French Bistro in the Emporium precinct will be serving up one free small Vittoria take away coffee each to all lycra-clad owners of two wheeled speed machines in search of a post-ride endorphin high.
 
Belle Époque will be screening SBS highlights of the famous Tour de France from 7:30am on the big screen and boasts a great bar area plus warm booths to watch the action from.

So after pushing out in the winter darkness with your cold legs doing loops around the fog-covered river, grab your treadly-mad friends and let the bikes stand idle as their owners have their caffeine refuel courtesy of Belle Époque. Patisseries, viennoiseries and a la carte menu is also available.
